The Lotus Story

From the Esprit in James Bond to Formula 1 world championships, Lotus has always stood for lightweight engineering and driver engagement. When Geely acquired Lotus in 2017, they invested $2 billion to electrify the brand. The result is the Eletre — a 905 HP hyper-SUV that does 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, faster than a Lamborghini Urus. It features a retractable LiDAR sensor hidden in the roofline, active aerodynamics with a deployable rear wing, and 5G connectivity. Built in Wuhan on a dedicated electric platform, the Eletre proves that Chinese manufacturing can produce world-class luxury vehicles.
